After significant investment in both plant and vehicles, Prudden Hire Centres and Prudden Skip Hire both enjoyed record sales within the months August through to October 2007, this has resulted in significant growth and are on course for a 20% rise in turnover, scheduled for the forth coming year.

Prudden Road Surfacing Limited, a privately owned family run business was established in Redditch in January 1995.
Originally a road surfacing company, we started hiring out plant, tools and equipment to the road surfacing industry alongside our surfacing contract operations.
We have now opened our first hire centre at the rear of Prudden House in Chapel Street, off Birchfield Road, Headless Cross, Redditch hiring and selling direct to the trade, construction industry and the general public. Soon you will be joining hundreds of businesses and DIY enthusiasts who come back to Prudden Hire Centre time after time for our friendly and expert advise on our ever increasing range of equipment.
As a quality hire company, all of Prudden Hire Centres plant, tools and equipment are under 3 years old and excellently maintained. We also have a comprehensive range of equipment including:
Hand Tools * Power Tools * Work Wear * Personal Protection * Access Equipment * Construction Equipment
If you have a particular requirement or if we don’t have an item in stock, we can supply it within 24 hours. Our hire centre is open 6 days a week – Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. In addition to sales and hire we also have a repair service and an out of hours fitter for emergency breakdowns.
Opening a net monthly account with Prudden Hire Centre could not be easier and with the minimum of formalities. Our account application form will take only a minute to complete, all we require is a copy of your company letterhead and two business references.

If you do not have an account you will have to pay a deposit. You can either pay Cash, credit or debit card. Full details of conditions for hiring the Plant and equipment can be found on the rear of our Hire centre Contracts and are available on request.
We reserve the right to make a charge for the cleaning of any equipment returned in an exceptionally dirty state.
All equipment is supplied with the necessary consumable items which are supplied on a sale or return basis.
